Bulletins
September 21, 2014
Download the Bulletin as a PDFWith the momentum of Fall Festival’s smashing success, we can look forward to some more glorious chaos at St. John. The renovation work that I described in the bulletin a few weeks ago is now on the cusp of happening. In the next few weeks I expect work to begin for the dismantling of the white wooden lattice in the church ceiling over the altar. Scaffolding will fill the sanctuary, leaving us with daily Masses taking place in the gymnasium and with Sunday Masses happening amidst an undusty jungle gym of wood and steel.
After several weeks we will be able to look up “into the heavens” and witness the Holy Spirit coming down upon our sacred assembly to bring the presence of God.
If all goes well it should make this year’s Confirmation Mass on November 7 all the more memorable.
Come Holy Spirit!
God bless you.
