St. John the Beloved Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a program about the famous pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela on Thursday, November 6, at 7:30pm in St. John the Beloved Academy’s Eagle Hall. All parishioners are invited to attend. “The Way of St. James” is one of Europe’s oldest pilgrimage routes leading to the tomb of St. James the Apostle in northwestern Spain. Kevin Bohli, Executive Director of the Office of Youth, Campus, and Young Adult programs, will give a talk about the 200-mile trek he and 14 diocesan youth made in early July. Several pilgrims from our parish, who made a separate 60-mile walk this summer, will also offer some reflections on their experience. Refreshments to follow.
